Custom Bolts, Made to Your Drawing
HyHaven manufactures custom and non-standard bolts in Wenzhou, China — cold headed and machined, in the grade, material and finish your application needs. Send a drawing or a sample, and we will review it and quote the part, the tooling (if any) and the inspection plan in one reply.
Cold heading M5–M24 · Machining M8–M64 · Grades 4.8 / 8.8 / 10.9 / 12.9 · Tolerance ±0.05 mm · MOQ 2,000 pcs
What We Make
We make bolts that catalogues do not stock:
- Non-standard bolts — non-standard lengths, head shapes, drive types and thread specifications, made to drawing.
- Special-shaped parts — headed parts with non-round or asymmetric features, cold headed or machined depending on geometry.
- Wheel bolts and automotive fasteners — for wheel and chassis applications, in grades up to 12.9.
- Threaded sleeves and inserts — internal/external thread components machined to your dimensions.
Also made to drawing: U-bolts and anchor bolts. These are quoted case by case — send the drawing first, and we will confirm feasibility and price before anything is committed.

Cold Headed or Machined?
In the M8–M24 overlap, most parts can be made either way. Cold heading forms the part with dies: it is faster at volume and keeps the grain flow of the steel unbroken, which suits high-strength bolts. Machining cuts the part from bar: it handles complex shapes, asymmetric features and the tightest tolerances, and stays economical at the lower end of the quantity range. Send the drawing — we will tell you honestly which route fits your part, and why.
Finishes, Including Dacromet
Four finishes, all done to order: black oxide for a low-cost protective film on indoor parts; zinc plating and color zinc plating for general corrosion protection with a bright or colored chromate layer; Dacromet for parts that need stronger corrosion resistance without hydrogen-embrittlement risk on high-strength grades. Tell us the working environment and we will match the finish to it.
Inspection
Every custom order is checked in-house before it ships: material composition, metallography, hardness, dimensions, contour/profile and surface roughness. An inspection report covering these items can be supplied with your order on request — the same measurements your incoming QC would run.

How Ordering Works
- Drawing or sample — send a 2D/3D drawing, or ship us a sample.
- Technical review — we check geometry, material, grade, finish and tolerance against our equipment.
- Quotation — part price, tooling (if the part needs new tooling) and inspection scope, in one document.
- Sample approval — samples are paid 100% in advance; production starts only after you approve them.
- Production and inspection — parts are made and checked against the agreed measurements.
- Shipment — balance terms are 30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipment.
Two honest notes. Tooling: where a new part needs new tooling, the fee is quoted together with your sample — stated up front, never added later. Minimum order: 2,000 pcs. Tooling setup, machine scheduling and inspection are fixed costs on every run; below this quantity the per-piece price stops making sense for either side. If your quantity is lower, tell us — sometimes a machined route still works.
Automotive and Wheel Applications
A large share of our custom work is automotive: wheel bolts, chassis fasteners and non-standard replacements for vehicle platforms. If you are sourcing for wheels or suspension, send the drawing or the original sample with the vehicle application noted — grade, finish and inspection items differ from general hardware, and we will spec the quote accordingly.
FAQ
What do you need from me for a quote?
A drawing with dimensions, tolerances, material/grade and finish — or a physical sample — plus your quantity. The more complete the drawing, the faster and firmer the quote.
What is the minimum order quantity?
2,000 pcs for custom bolts. See "How Ordering Works" above for why, and tell us if your quantity is lower — a machined route may still work.
Is there a tooling (mold) fee?
If your part needs new tooling, yes — and it is quoted together with the sample, before you commit to anything. Parts that fit existing tooling carry no tooling fee.
Can you work from a sample instead of a drawing?
Yes. We measure the sample, produce a drawing for your approval, and quote from that.
What inspection report can I get?
Composition, metallography, hardness, dimensions, contour/profile and roughness results for your production batch, supplied with the order on request.
How are payments structured?
Samples 100% in advance. Mass production: 30% deposit to start, 70% before shipment.
