5. Verify Voltage, Current and Control Requirements

Choose 12V or 24V according to the system power architecture, then verify actuator current requirements, switching method, controller ratings and any required signal or feedback functions separately.

6. Evaluate Duty Cycle and Environment

Check expected operating frequency, temperature and exposure conditions. An IP rating is an ingress-protection classification, not a blanket guarantee of suitability for every RV, outdoor, wet or dusty installation.
